Blood Forest, Lancaster MA

Lancaster State forest was a donated piece of land from Arthur W. Blood in 1946. The 125 acres was very striped of growth due to the hurricane that struck the town in 1938, So the town committee asked the boy scouts and girl scouts to plants over 2,000 white pine and red pine seedlings.

What seemed to be a normal forest though, became a nightmare for whoever visited. Legend has is that Mr. Blood was an unstable and crazy man who would murder people who were in the forests; then hang there bodies from trees. There's a legend saying that a couple went camping in the woods back in the 70's and were found murdered by their car. Many people have reported seeing white figures moving around and hearing weird noises.

Would you stay the night here?
